And no I’m not talking about Lamar Odam Im talking about in general. I think i have read over 6 just silly retard nba handed down suspendings. I understand that they don’t want another problem that happen in Indiana with O’Neal and Artest but come on how this is just getting silly to me.

Rules are Rules, players need to know that. I just think sometimes it’s uncalled for, I don’t want such things to happen in the playoffs where the games are important.
Honestly, they have to keep things under control some how. There have been too many things happening in the past to tarnish the image of the NBA. So now they are a bit tighter on a few things which I find just fine. If they have to fine and suspend then hey, so be it. Gotta keep things in control. If athlete can get away with the sill simple things then they will push to get away with even the more severe things as well. Good for the NBA for jumping in an saying “not ok” and handing out suspensions and what may for athletes doing things they know arn’t ok. I mean I get it, sometimes things arn’t always meant to happen – i.e. the accidents – those should be more closely looked at. We can’t assume however that NBA players don’t always know when they are doing something that could cost them a suspension or fine.
You might not be directly talking about the Lamar suspension but if they did not suspend Lamar then teams like Phoenix who basically lost to the Spurs two years ago becaue their starting center and back up center left the bench during an altercation and basically cost them the championship would not been fair for them.
One of the assistant coaches suppose to make sure that people do not leave the bench because it is human nature sometimes and so some of the blame is on the coaching staff.
but once again they had to suspend Lamar because of the written rule about leaving the bench and once again teams in the past has suffer from it and it would not been fair to them. if they did not suspend Lamar.
It’s to keep the league under control, that Palace of Auburn Hill incident really damaged the NBA’s image.
name one silly suspension the NBA has handed out.
I am shocked the NBA didn’t slap Ariza with a suspension! Stupid Stern and his awful refs.
