   it’s only because you despise the sooners that you think this. i don’t like the sooners but they do normally have a few good games worthy of watching. i would be saying the same thing about notre dame or ohio state. and you might disagree with me on that. but bo i don’t think any team should be permanently banned. thy should not be able to make bowl games for the next 5 years though. just like they do with ncaa basketball.

   Oklahoma self reported and I think the punishment is excessive. If they had tried to hide it(which they did not) then I would have had to agree with the punishment. Personally, I think USC should be banned for them paying their players and hiding it. USC’s probably has a bigger player payroll than most pro teams!!!!

    Yeah, two players got caught by the University (not the NCAA) and were immediately kicked off the team. That’s so much worse than accepting over $75,000 from agents, or putting up players and players families in luxury apartments for free.
    Actually, you asking this question confirms my theory that you are not a USC fan, but that you hate USC and are on here working hard to make USC the most hated team in College Football history. It’s working.

    Well, the NCAA gave the death penalty to SMU and after they crashed and burned the NCAA will never do that again. My understanding is that OU did it’s own investigation and advised the NCAA of the problem and the actions taken by the Sooners.
    It’s hilarious that you as a USC fanatic is pointing the finger at anyone. At least OU took steps to clean their own house and did not sweep it under the rug like USC. I have to hand it to Reggie Bush in that the out-of-court settlement had to be a real piece of work and since the NCAA does not have subpoena powers no one knows what the settlement covered. Also, yeah right Joe McKnight didn’t talk to Reggie Bush. People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
    USC is lower than whale dung and we all know where that lies.
