will it be more fun to watch? or will it make the league into a jumpshooting game? some say the NBA should follow the FIBA rules so that the NBA players wont have to adjust much in international play.

FIBA started in North America and is older than NBA. The creator of basketball, Naismith, worked with FIBA. So, it is the NBA that is the rogue league.
There are some FIBA rules that I like better than NBA rules but some of the major differences like the 3point line I couldn’t stomach. I like the ball-on-the-rim-can-be-touched rule. It allows for rebound scrambles or tip-ins.
I like having the two different leagues each with their own rules. So the NBA should stay as is in my opinion.
firstly, FIBA’s 3pt line is 3 feet shorter than the NBA’s so it b quiet boring if u started to see gilbert arenas or ray allen make every 9 out of 10 3pt shots. Secondly, FIBA has no goaltending so all the big center will average more than 5 blocks per game, FIBA rules are international but NBA is pro level, rules should b kept how they are….btw, basketball was invented in north america (canada) so why follow the worlds rule if they invented it?
No one will play defense, it’ll be like a whole season full of All-Star games without the stars.
It will never happen. The NBA game will never copy FIBA rules. Pro sports rules in the US is an untouchable subject. To much tradition. No, to me it would not be fun to watch. I like my NBA the way it is.
