Currently i attena high school and im a freshman. I played for my Varsity soccer team and Varsity basketball team. Over the summer i plan to really invest my time in working on my skills to get me to the next level. Should i start contacting the coaches of the colleges that i am interested in.

absolutely. it is very good that you understand that you really need to work on your skills to excel. not many people realize how much soccer can help you when it comes to basketball. it builds tremendous point guard skills (see steve nash) and really has you built up for basketball.
Try to attend a basketball camp or clinic where there will be many many coaches. just try to learn as much as you can.
Most importantly, keep your grades up because that makes getting athletic scholarships that much easier.
No. you should wait for them to contact you, but I’m pretty sure that they cant contact you until the beginning or end of sophomore year. You should go to camps or tournaments that are well known so coaches will be there and be looking for players.
You choose college in Junior or Senoir season coaches dont like guys who call in freshman season because those athletes think they are better than everyone else
No u don’t call the college coaches. That makes no sense if u r gd they will b watching u. If u want college coaches 2 start 2 watch u then play AAU basketball that gets high exposure.
You should not contact college coaches… If you’re good enough then there are scouts that will be watchin’ you…
