   I like it, its not the best, but like the guy on 1st and 10 said, think about one of the players making a HUGE dunk, then you hear a giant thunder sound effect that shakes the entire arena, that would be tight, and as for it sounding like a small time team, i can agree with that, but what about other teams, like utah jazz, i know they were from N.O, but the jazz? in utah?i dont even know where utah is haha, or the clippers, sounds like a team owned by a barbershop or sumthing, i like thunder better then barons too, and i like it over alot of names in the nba, i think dumb names are like, spurs, jazz, nuggets, or bucks, whats with bucks? o, lets put a deer as our logo, thunder isnt such a bad name to me.

   It is a horrible name, a minor league baseball team is named the thunder. It sounds like the name of a minor league sports team, as I just stated. A pro franchise with such a terrible name. The Barrons would’ve been way better. It wont sound right to hear Thunder.vs.Spurs, Thunder.vs.Celtics, Thunder.vs.Mavericks, Thunder.vs.Warriors, etc.

   Are you kidding? The NBA is full of dumb names. Bobcats? Pacers? Lakers? And how about those “Nets”. Ooooooh. Nets. That’s tough and intimidating. Nothing wrong at all with Thunder. In fact, it seems to be one of this leagues better names.

   Well I don’t see why the league would do anything about it, after all they allow the Supersonics to move to OKC. As far as the name goes I guess they could’ve chose somethin else but no sense complainin about it!!!!!!

   they should have chosen the “BARONS”. The “Thunder” sounds like a WNBA team.
